Create a fresh new take on what food means to Starbucks and their customers. Launch concept store and new brand in all US locations.


Seeking to establish themselves as a delicious lunch destination, Starbucks created the Mercato lunch menu to compliment their coffee and beverage offerings. The new grab-and-go food was made fresh daily and donated nightly to local foodbanks and feature fresh, hearty and vibrant ingredients.

To highlight the new launch and celebrate the quality food, a team of environmental and visual designers collaborated on the re-imagined store space, new digital menus and printed promotional materials.
